A&D Transport (NW) LTD take many steps to ensure that we comply with Health and Safety legislation, We work in conjunction with our customer base to improve Health and Safety in the waste industry and ensure that all vehicles have the latest specifications to meet all European Requirements.

We continuously improve our internal training and control programmes, which all members of staff take part in. An Internal Requirement Programme has also now been implemented to encourage more awareness of Health and Safety, and the environment. This is managed in house by our own full time Health and Safety Manager who is a Chartered Member of IOSH (The Institute of Safety and Health) who are the main compliance body in the UK.

We are now also members of FIAS, which governs the risks and issues linked to the use of fertilisers for agricultural or commercial use.
